Review by hotel critic
As an eco-conscious food enthusiast and sustainability advocate from Melbourne, my stay at Avenue Inn was a delightful fusion of culinary innovation and tranquil comfort. Nestled in a quiet residential area, the recently refurbished motel exuded a sense of modernity and charm.Upon arrival, the new bathroom with its invigorating rain shower provided a refreshing start to my gourmet getaway. The cozy room, though compact, boasted all the essentials for a restful night's sleep - a testament to thoughtful design and functionality. For dining, the on-site cafe and restaurant, unfortunately closed during my stay, hinted at a gastronomic experience awaiting future visitors. The promise of breakfast being "very good indeed" piqued my curiosity, leaving me eager to return for a taste of their culinary offerings.Despite the restaurant being closed, the bar/lounge beckoned with the promise of evening relaxation, hinting at convivial ambiances and perhaps a chance to mingle with fellow travelers. The Avenue Inn may be a quiet retreat, but its gastronomic potential shines bright, making it a compelling choice for those seeking a blend of comfort and culinary delights during their travels.
